“Przystanek Woodstock”one of the biggest Polish Rock Festival held in the beginning of  August in Kostrzyn on the Odra River, Poland since 2004.

This year the festival starts on 2nd August (Thursday) and finishes on Sunday the 4rd August 2012.

Every year, Przystanek Woodstock features a few dozen bands from Poland and abroad (there were for instance: Guano Apes, Die Toten Hosen, Kiling Joke, The Stranglers, Clawfinger, Kreator, Beatsteaks, Zion Train and Twinkle Brothers). The guests are invited to perform on one of two stages: the Big Stage or the Small Stage, also known as the Folk Stage.

This year the most famous artist at Woodstock Festival Poland will be SHANTEL & Bucovina Club Orkestar , Damian Marley - the youngest son of reggae legend Bob Marley, The Darkness  - a British band playing classic rock, glam rock, and glam metal, Asian Dub Foundation -  with combination of drum’n’bass, reggae, jungle and dub with traditional Hindu melodies
